Up on Rhino ramps for oil and filter change. M1 0W30 AFE @ 10,000 km OCI. Back was a bit sore the next day, but would still rather do it myself (for now).

Returned home a few days ago from a week in Kauai, Hawaii. Funny thing about this island, roosters and chickens everywhere! It was a nice but short break from winter, the week went by too fast. Saw humpbacks from shore, no binoculars needed. We watched a juvenile slap its' tail on the water 15 times, sounded like a shotgun blast each time, a thrill for us.

Some awesome plates that our member @Nick1994 sent to me. All of them are awesome and my favorites are definitely the Hawaii which is one state I needed for my 50 state. And the California trailer one too. Those California trailer ones I’ve always liked the style of so I’m happy to add one to the collection. The motorcycle one will do good for my 50 State motorcycle run. And all the Arizona ones will go good in my collection. I appreciate it very much Nick. Now just time to locate a Rhode Island one and officially have one for all 50 states.

My moms plate nice and lit up. She will be replacing these next month when they expire. Been in service since 2018 so they are due for replacement lol. I get bored with mine and replace them early lol. She wants to get either another set of Lighthouse plates, butterfly plates or another set of Kids First plates. The lighthouse and one of the butterfly plates are the cheapest lol. The other butterfly plate and the Kids First plates are a little more. Looks like these will be hanging on my wall before too long lol. If she does end up keeping them for some reason I’ll kind of be bummed cause I need more specialty Virginia plates lol.
Looks like it could be where the first season of Gilligans island was filmed.

I drove about 100k in a semi and 500k in a 40' straight. Thankfully I never found any of those although I did get misguided in Chicago and led to a 12' bridge. Took Chicago out of my atlas after that and never went again. Much improved once I switched to a 1 ton cargo van.

unix drums. steam bent african mahogany on the left and american white oak on the right. finish transparent red wine and textured red. 8mm thick single ply shells. with 8mm solid rings. the warmth of a wood drum with the power and overtones of a metal drum. the most famous of these drums was the slingerland radio king.
