I took this picture the other night of my sweet girl lab Dixie. I bought her another pillow last weekend hopefully she doesn’t chew this one up lol. Hopefully she likes blue too haha 😂. She will chew anything she can get her paws on lol. But I’m glad she is a normal lab because they chew like crazy and the sweetest girl ever too.

Fog over the bridge is common.

Just as commonly the fog will suddenly lift and the Marin Headlands and a blue sky appear out of nowhere.

Some roadside foliage in Marin.

I can't resist stopping for my favorite pizza when passing through Point Reyes Station. Also, a pizza with pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms for my lady and a porter for me.

Up on the Scenic Highway, overlooking Stinson Beach and the sleepy town of Bolinas.

The grass has gone from green in the spring to golden in the summer, to bleached straw in the fall. The seasonal changes here are not as subtle as many believe.

I made a new friend.

I suspect people feed them and so these coyotes are not shy at all. I hope they won';t get run over.

They don't look like the coyotes around here, those look domesticated.

A mild climate and plenty of food. They are not being hunted. I'd look less scruffy, too. As for domesticated coyotes in California, no, at least not legally. These just live in the coastal hills, miles from any town. Stinson Beach is the closest town and I have seen a pack of a dozen coyotes crossing the parking lot in broad daylight and walking into the dunes by the beach. Their flight distance is usually around 10 feet.
