Thread for photos that 100% do not violate any Terms Of Service, not political, not too lewd, no gas price pics etc.

Did my first autocross, some wires got crossed and I got put in the extreme street class instead of novice (I was driving a buddies car, he got 2nd place)… or maybe they looked at the car and went “yeah right, “novice’” 🤣 but it was an absolute riot! Now I need a race car!

Whoever was running timing also screwed up and gave my buddy my 44.834 time, maybe a piece of tape came off the numbers 🤷🏻‍♂️

An auction purchase a while back. Nice car other than the roof that we had to repair and an obnoxious Corsa exhaust system that someone put on it. I figure the roof was from people rolling over the top of it when the driver lost control. 🤔😉
It’s a stage 2, so no supercharger, only a suspension package. It is a good driving car, I just can’t stand the obnoxious noise. I’m more of a low, subtle rumble kinda guy, so we need to do something about that.

I didn't have time for that and had to use what I had at hand. Here's the plain desert shot. The hovering and moving landspeeder in A New Hope was by the way done by placing a slanted mirror between the bottom of the vehicle and the sand. The shadow was rotoscoped later. know this because when I was a kid I was a huge SW fan and knew all the trivia.

My grandson and I in second grade. I'm on the left. Same grade school too! He's growing up in the family home my parents bought in 1958, playing in the same neighborhood and walking on the same sidewalks I did. I am truly blessed! He's going to high school now, the same high school I did. What's cool too is that I was a track stud in my day (hurdles) and 52 years later my name is on the Hall of Fame list in the gymnasium lobby.

That's not the Bonny Doon I was referring to. I was referring to Bonny Doon Beach. I'll leave it to others to look that beach up. :)

I call it Bonny Doon. It's bonny and there are "doons." And no, there's no beach anywhere. But there's sand. Lots and lots of sand. :ROFLMAO:
