My new toy haha. Very excited to use this. I’ve always liked the Stihl products we’ve owned and used. This one was $219.99 and 4 year warranty because I bought their fuel mix. This seems to be the most popular model as this is the one everyone was grabbing when I was looking at them. Someone brought back a curved shaft and traded it for this one. I never could use a curved shaft one it seems when you do you are at an odd angle but I guess if that’s what someone prefers then it’s fine if it works for them. The Stihl department kept telling me since I’m not really familiar with weed eating I should of gotten a curved shaft I’m like no thanks I’ll stick to what I know and that’s straight shaft. We still have a Stihl chainsaw from the 1970s that’s still running that was in a flood so I have no doubt this is a quality product. Everyone told me get Stihl, Echo or Husqvarna so since Echo was the most widely available I compared this and the Echo and ultimately decided on this because of the service and dealers around. We don’t have an authorized Echo dealer around just the Lowes and Home Depot I think it is. Hopefully this will be a great trimmer for many years. It’s a little heavy but that’s ok. I was surprised to see it came with safety glasses a T27 torx wrench and a strap. No other one we have gotten has. This one is new. I learned Rural King takes trade ins and sells used which I didn’t know.
