May end up being the best car I ever bought (value and lovability). $14k cash, 8.5 years later, 64k miles, not much broke and no end in sight. Pretty sure that even though I got it 10 yo, I am the owner who had it the longest and drove it the most (3rd owner). I want to do the same with a 2013 S63 but prolly can’t do it 😂 with the P30 pkg

58F/14C this morning here. Boost weather 😎. So the little FIAT turbo got to stretch its legs a bit, while I received an adrenaline filled drive, followed by beautiful views, crisp mountain air, and calming waves at the lake below. I should do this more often. Feels great, both physically and mentally, despite just finishing a 12hr night shift.

Get out there guys, take care of yourselves, no one else will. No one else gives a crap about our mental health. (sorry for the truth.) But nature does help to reset things a little here and there, before you gotta slam the weight of the world on shoulders again and carry the family to a brighter future.

Great advice. I'm going to pack a lunch, fill the thermos and go get lost.

At my first Mobil gas station job as a teen pump jockey, the boss had a "drippies" pan on the bench in the shop, It was just a small rubbermaid washtub with a piece of hardware cloth screening over the tub. This was back in the paper oil can days, so if we did an oil top off, we would pour it pretty quick - likely leaving a 1/2 cup still in the can. After the customer pulled away, we would take the open cans into the shop and set them upside down to drip into the tub. When we got a quart or two in there, I would dump the drippies into the galvie lube can, then use that to top off then next gasoline buying customer's oil. Good customers sometimes got freebie top offs, others had to pay a buck or whatever we were charging for a quart of 10W30 or 40 back in the early seventies. Fun memories!
