That was my first thought too. But then I remembered that American flag protocol really doesn't matter to that flag.

Not only is it not the flag of the USA, it never was the flag of the USA. No one even seems to know where the Bennington flag came from, or when it came into existence. The Bennington flag is as much an American flag as a thin blue line flag or thin red line flag.

So hang it however you want. It doesn't matter.
