Thread for photos that 100% do not violate any Terms Of Service, not political, not too lewd, no gas price pics etc.

I got stuck in a 2-mile jam on Park Presidio Blvd thanks to a three-car smash-up.

Sales Force Tower (1,070 feet) is peaking over the hilltop

Cropped view, 100% image size, not pretty from such a tiny sensor

A combined going into and coming out retirement dinner for Klaus. I suspect the decorative peace banner made him feel at home.

Lunch today. Reminded me of Nicholson and Huston in, “Chinatown.”

It’s like dining at the Albacore Club in the 1920’s….

I could never drive in traffic like that. My town of 5000 population is too big for me.
Easy problem to remedy, give car to Granddaughter and hire my running done!

Some driving and beach pics from today.

Headed for Bodega Bay. Hoping to escape the local crows.

On Hwy 1, headed for South Salmon Creek Beach just north of Bodega Bay

Typical small beach shack with a garage/shed. Beach shack living is not for everyone, At least my beach shack is on a hill. The one in the picture could get washed away.

Salmon Creek flows into the ocean

I was following tracks on the beach for a couple of miles. Those are my for prints and I was shooting in the direction I was coming from.

The tracks were going towards a wrecked fishing boat. A crew was working on the wreckage. This shot is from about a mile and a half away, with 5x digital magnification and cropped. Lousy digital artifacts and little detail. You are looking at the bow of the ship. The superstructure was washed away by a storm. The black object is a massive piece of tree trunk with some of the roots.

A helicopter flew over the wreck, then turned around for another flyby

I saw lots of 1/.4" breathing hoes in the san today. all kinds of critters live in the sand.

I saw many of those things on the beach., My son always called them beach gummies. I don't know if they are egg sacks or small prosomes or whatnot. If you know, please tell me.
