I loathe Acuras chrome beak era, and I didn't exactly care for the corporate Honda look back then
But you've gotta admit, it was ahead of its time

I was in camp Venza (original and to be departed '24)
Nice set of 5 spokes, and an SE appearance package or grille, and I think it looks sharp

As ugly as chrome beak era was - it birthed the most amazing and the most overlooked sleeper of all times - the Acura TL, with a 6-speed manual, and SH-AWD.
 
I can understand why coming of age in the 10s would affect your taste. For me growing up in the 70s I spent a lot of my time and money searching for 60s era right up to the day I test drove a new Z06 and saw the G meter on the heads up display
 
Trying to find a use for bolts i don’t need anymore so I made my wife a hat hanger she’s not sold on it though

We lost Maggie just over a year ago. We miss her dearly.

A nice 2008 Chevy Silverado that is on the auction block at my work. Seriously considering getting it. $4,500 my price 198,000 miles besides the paint and the wear on the center console and seat it’s mint. Brand new suspension components and tires. I said I’d never buy a Chevrolet but I really have grown to like this body style the two before it. Runs and drives great. My dealership recently made their auction dealer only so that means this would go to a dealer somewhere. Only reasons for being red dotted 🔴 (auctioned) is because the mileage and paint. Out of the three cars I priced this was the cheapest and the one in the best condition. I hear nothing but good things with these and the 5.3 engines which I’ve seen go to 500,000+ miles. Since we have a ton of vehicles I have agreed with my dad if I get this I’ll part with the Escape and one other most likely the Jeep not sure though.
