I went to Livermore yesterday and took the Altamont Pass.

Railroad bridge and fully explained flying object

I'm showing you only one more shot with windmills because you have seen many windmills before and nobody wants to see hundreds of dead murder birds.
Monday thru Friday, Altamont Pass Rd. is a slow crawl with commute traffic that's attempting to bypass the slow crawl of commute traffic on I-580. Both routes will get you no where fast. It's just nasty.

580 had come to a complete stop. Altamont Pass Road was not great either. You can see all the cars behind us in the mirror. It was acrawl for two miles before it got better. Maybe Patterson Pass Road would have been a better choice if there hadn't been road closures.. At least it would have been more scenic.

Does Optimized Battery Charging mean that the phone wont charge past 80% if it knows you wont be using it .... say like midnight ?

The battery has lost 20% of its capacity since new. The battery doesn't last as long before needing charged compared to when the phone was new.

Not to get too off topic.....

I don't know how traveled Patterson Pass and Tesla/Corral Hollow are on the weekends. There's still a lot of commute traffic on Saturdays around here. Typically on weekdays, Patterson Pass and Tesla/Corral Hollow are all heavily traveled. The only time I get off the interstate is to get around the wrecks. I once had to get off 580 at Vasco, went north to Camino Diablo and then backtracked south on Byron Rd. to get home.

The first time I traveled Patterson Pass Rd. I was surprised to see an oil field along the side of the road.
