Original iPhone 2G so it can no longer be used. Just a cool piece of history and a good piece to remember Steve Jobs. This phone was purchased by the original owner in February 2008 according to the serial number online. iPhone was originally only available on AT&T as they had an agreement. I think the iPhone 4 was the first available on more carriers. I also got two iPod touch 4th generations and a iPhone 4S Verizon so it’s a nice start to a good collection. I bought the cheapest good condition ones i could find. Everyone wants a mint for the first three iPhones.

You could just use your money to light the fireplace. It would be more direct and time efficient.

Is the thread starter MIA? Has he gotten that high-security job and is inconvenienced or has he gotten tropical bird flu?

Either way, life goes on. Here we have two roughly 1/64 scale models. The Toyota is a stock Johnny Lightning and the Ford is a modded Racing Champions model.

One of my favorite off-road vehicles ever is the Land Cruiser J40 (1960-1984). The model says it's a 1988. All stock. The model was given to me a few years ago. Shot on a bronze 3-D map of the Marin coastal range located at the Muir Beah overlook.

This is a 1948 Ford F-1, which is along with the Dodge Power Wagon, my favorite pickup truck design. This model is modded, not to be accurate but to my liking. I put this together in the '90s. The grill is custom scratch-built from metal, polished and sealed, the headlights have metal bezels and are oversized, the wheels are cast in metal and the tires are simply O-rings. I like the slightly exaggerated look of the large headlights and the toy-like tires. The stock model has a crappy chrome grill with integrated chrome lights, no clear lenses, and no tail lights.

This is how it would look if it were stock.

Putting this back in next weekend.View attachment 179069
I gotta know; what is that for? (Feel real sorry for the poor parts guy when someone wants/needs to replace all the hoses).... Talk about pushing you luck for some kind of leak with all that going on.

This would be the exact opposite of my '66 Mustang or my '68 Charger... each had exactly 6 hoses: upper & lower radiator, 2x heater, PVC and a little vacuum line between the [manual] carb and the distributor

A hoarder is born...
I remember Steve Jobs well.
It seems weird but if you screw people hard enough they love you. 🤔
