Only issues I have with louvers is when they are poorly made or almost closed. To each their own

Which really is not a large/wide problem. Some funky pics looking at the top of louvers really can't be used to judge "almost closed"
I think the chance of some metal debris/FOD/broken off burr on the "inside" of any oil filter is a bit more scary.
Anyway, no big deal. I just found your comment unscientific, with no data and a bit blown up - but if you were just kidding around, then OK, as I was in my first response.
