Nice - my former Accountant - MBA/CPA - sweater, pipe, and fountain pen kind of guy - had a restored limo in that body style …
It was as awesome as he was - he had an old bank building (his office) and would show you the old vault door - also a work of art !

I drove to Santa Cruz yesterday because it was sunnier and because the waves were good. A few pictures.

Houses with ocean views. Ice plant everywhere you look. White, yellow, and magenta. Right now I see mostly yellow and white variants.
Looking south
Steamer Lane. An enterprising owner of a steamboat created waves for the surfers with his steamboat here in the 1930s, hence the name.
Driving back on 1. I am approaching the hamlet of Davenport.
About to pass Pigeon Point. That's how the windshield looks when driving near the ocean.
