Dad registered my car today and put insurance on it. Still have to fix the reverse but other than that it’s fine. Going to drop the pan this weekend or next and change the fluid and filter. It’s never been changed before. Dad ordered the Washington Nationals plates as I requested. He got them registered for 3 years so that way the stickers match the plates haha. I’ll probably change them before then anyway but I like the 2026 stickers. Now I’m out about $350 lol. But that’s ok I told him to go ahead with it because in Virginia you have to register a vehicle within 30 days after purchase date or they will add $10 per each 30 days that it isn’t registered. My plate number will be 4908NT. I’m pumped lol. Been waiting all day to find out my plate number. The Washington Nationals plates are not that common in this part of the state. Wish they had other MLB team plates though. Like the Pirates or Padres or even Orioles.

Fairly fascinating quick 1942 construction by Army Corp (Then called US Engineering Department) . Tank long gone but the wooden members in amazingly great shape in a harsh salt spray temperate rain forest climate. Who knows what they were treated with!
