@Slow Car Sport Mode - The W220 is a wonderful car when it’s properly maintained. Sadly, most of them on the road today have not been cared for, they sell for cheap, because they desperately need expensive repairs.

Great to look at, wonderful to drive, but I would steer clear of that S-class…

One of my favorite cars, ever! Perhaps one day I'll have one, although they've always been out of reach for me, sometimes by a lot, sometimes not so much. I ended up settling for the sedan which I loved.

I came across a long-lost ancestral cousin who should be rightfully retired or dead.

I had friends in high school, twin brothers, who wanted to buy one of these. Their kindly very conservative dad saw the 10" wheels and said "Suffering cats, I wouldn't trust one of those to take me around the block!"

They instead bought a series of other ill-fated vehicles over the next few months - an Envoy Epic, an old Mustang with a very tired 289, and an MGB.
