Lava lamp from circa 1974. It warmed up but didn’t work very good so we tossed it in dumpster

Cabbage patch dolls from late 70’s. Mom says her best friend bought her them as mom didn’t want to know if she would have another boy or girl. They are worth 4 figures by the way as antique man in Punxsy appraised them 🤑🤑🤑

That is one scary looking doll, I'm going to have nightmares about that hideous thing!

Same here. The **** thing is a chair tied to a rocket. From my person experience PW makes the loudest military engines, more so than GE.
Not comparing things here, as the last three years showed which country's claims about their weapons are hot air and which one's weapons actually work, but as far as fighters' sounds are concerned... Boy, do I want to see an airshow with these :-P

You work in aviation ?
No, just a big nerd when it comes to this stuff. F16 had GE and PW options, and though the output was greater for the GE, the PW “sounded” louder. Had the honour of hearing both variants multiple times. Also had a family member working for GD for 15+ years and he’d always give me the tech specs and low down on all these amazing birds.

Nice, LVK are doing solid this year. Fun fact, the GM of the VK completed his MBA (as did I) at Queen’s. I even had the chance to talk to him, great guy, down to earth and very articulate.

This was my great grandfathers Chevrolet mechanic certificate. It means the world to me to have something that was once his. Me or my dad never got to meet him but from what we heard from family and friends who knew him said he was a natural mechanic. He was vacationing in Baltimore in I think my dad said 1958 or 1959 maybe early 1960 and he was hit by a car and the car took off never to be caught. He died instantly in fact the impact was so hard when he was hit it separated his head from his torso. Sad thing to happen to a family member. I wish I would have gotten to meet him and my grandpa but I didn’t get to meet either one. Grandpa died in 1963 from a heart attack. He was the manager of the bowling alley and was the one who fixed the ball returns and machines that bring the pins down. I’m just glad I will forever have this certificate to hold my great grandfather Cecil’s memory. It’s something I will cherish forever.
