That is pretty hardcore, glove protectors and all.
I never rode one of these fat tire bikes but it appears to be more of a fad than function. Tires this wide seem unwieldly and probably require much lower gearing to get moving.

The context of my edit was that I was wondering what the "regular sized" one would require. Total lights out sedation?
