2024 SR5 4WD
I have had two 3rd gens, one automatic, one manual. Also have had two 2nd gens. This by far has been my favorite Tacoma of all 5. The little turbo 4 cylinder outperforms the outgoing V6's by far. The 8 speed automatic is far improved over the old 6 speed. It does randomly have a harsh shift I'm attributing it to the computer and mechanical unit not jiving for a millisecond. It has the cold weather and options package so it has heated seats, steering wheel, and JBL audio. Thoroughly enjoying all those features! 25-26mpg in the summer and 21-22mpg in the winter. Always run 87 with the occasional half tank of ethanol free 90 added when I fill my mower can and just top off the truck.
The factory tires are absolute garbage in the snow though, and are getting replaced tomorrow with some 3 peak all terrains.
Keeping it picture related, took it to the coin op and pressure washed all the salt off the underside and body. Brought it in the garage, fired up the torpedo heater, cranked the radio, and did a quick rinseless wash today.
