That Toyota 2000 GT is indeed a Danish-made Kirk model. I'd resto-mod that model and put nicer wheels on. I have a Kirk 1/43 scale Toronado with working jeweled popup headlights. A white convertible version of the Toyota was driven by agent Kissy Suzuki in You Only Live Twice.I found a toy car that I couldn't find for quite some time. Or course, in a box that I thought I'd gone through! Found a few other things, too. I've had it about 50 years so it has survived playing with and many moves...plus a few swats from a fly swatter as Mom thought it was a mouse (she thought the headlights were eyes, gleaming at night!). It says Kirk, Denmark underneath. The Lego 4x4 was one of those fun little stocking gifts, ~20 years old??

HAH! Well, waddaya know! I have forever assumed it was a Z car! Never bothered to even look at the details as I just didn't think it would be another car! Now I can see them! There's a Jay Leno's Garage episode on a 1967 2000 GT on YT that may interest you. It's really a fantastic looking sports car with a 2 liter V6. Very rare, I have seen only two and both at car shows.HAH! Well, waddaya know! I have forever assumed it was a Z car! Considering the price of lumber down here that’s a bargain! The feet alone would probably be over AUD $20
Give Martin Bros two months with that
