This is why I dont like strangers showing up.

Perhaps she found that the mine cart is now too hard for her to tip so she chose a different way to express her mischievous nature.

Leave the duck and if it's still there in a week there's noone home paying attention.

Chris is 100% right to be paranoid about this.
Paranoia abounds on this board. Is always has. Yea-a cute girl leaving a duck is going to have a circle of friends break in to your home.

1) This is a big viral thing for Jeeps
2) This is big viral thing on cruise ships

I'm am so curious-did you know this was a viral thing? Honestly?

Wow!

Maybe they use th this as a method to case houses. She gets back in the Jeep and says “they’ve got a Ring camera” and they skip that one.

Hopefully it’s nothing.

Give yourself some credit, man! The “disqualifiers” are trumped by the fact you’re still married! Obviously you’ve got some redeeming qualities other than just your name! 😎
my wife would flip if some random woman decided to knock at the door and give me a duck.

Of course it would be all my fault

Know the feeling.

The end of my drive by my mailbox has a sign that says “If you can read this, you’re in range.”… it’s the only way I can convince the wife the women who pull in the drive must be there for her…

I recall it was popular to buy a duck with a number on it and the charity would dump them in a river and capture the first numbered duck to cross the finish line. The number was on the bottom of the duck and then it was revealed to the judges at the end. The rest of the ducks would all then be collected to reduce chances of plastic pollution, which back then was not really identified as a big deal.

In all seriousness, I suspect she's a neighbor, who knows you have a Jeep. Didn't you recently say some people bought the property next to yours?

This does seem a bit bizarre, but there is probably no evil intent involved.
By the OP's previous posts in various threads, I gather that he is not all that rich so probably doesn't have much to steal. If you're going to case a joint, I'd think you'd case one of which the resident had plenty of visible wealth.
Did the OP recently do something that made a car owner angry?
This looks to me like someone might be messing with the OP.
I'll tell a little story from probably ten years ago. I had stopped by a Meijer in Moraine looking for auto clearance items one day on the way home from work. I was then driving a 2012 Taffeta White Accord. When I came out of the store there was a post-it note on the driver's side door window upon which was written simply "I love your car!". Strange, huh? I did a walk-around to look for any damage and found none. Just an odd event that never amounted to anything.
People do innocent things with no ulterior motive sometimes.
