Thinking about tinting my home

Tinted my baby's room's west window today with this: http://www.gilafilms.com/en/Glare-Control-Window-Film.aspx
Got it at Home Depot for less than $13. Read some great reviews on it first and read the install instructions on the website. The window is double pane, low-e argon filled, so I was to tint the outside surface. Did both sections in about a half an hour. Looks great and I think it will only improve as it dries even more. Gonna get some prime sun on it today anyways.

Finally got around to ask a few guys for quotes (busy with school, work, baby prep, cars, computer, etc)

The typical range I got seems to be between 720 to 1700. Brand available so far seems to be:

Vendor 1

SunTek Ultra Vision 70%
LLUMAR LS 75%
V-KOOL 70%

Vendor 2

Vista Ceramic 80%
HuperOptik Ceramic 60%

I was told that Vista and LLUMAR are almost identical and V-KOOL is on par with HuperOptik, and SunTek is at a lower quality (in terms of solar energy rejection). Surprised that Vendor 2 actually offer 720 on either film and Vendor 1 actually are more expensive on even the SunTek. Vendor 1 is further away though so maybe travel time overhead is the reason?

Call Premier Mobile Group im Fremont. I believe they recently started doing tinting for homes as well. As you've seen my car, all of their workmanship is world class.

I would rather NOT find someone that just recently start doing residential work. The cheapest vendor I got so far is doing large commercial work like hotels, and I think they'll be a bit more experienced.

Not familiar enough with residential tinting to comment but as usual ask to see samples.
