Thinking about throwing out my TV

It has been my experience in life that a book is usally 90% of the time superior to a movie based on the book. Stephen King stories are a good example-a lot of his books are just outstanding for horror stories but almost all of the movies that were based on his books I could have done without seeing.

I have seen some movies based on books that did not seem to follow the book plot at all. You could hardly even recognize the book in the movie.

Bottom line: It is easier to write a great book then to produce a grat movie.
