Things we see driving around - original content (pictures you snapped)

Texas drivers don’t disappoint again.

A guy lost his furniture on the highway, right over a hill and making a U-turn, clearly cannot back up a one axle trailer.
And I was doing 70mph when coming up to them.
Total idiots.

I used to work with a guy (in his fifties), he took his parents on a 2000 mile road trip and when he showed us some pics his small car and small trailer were always parked in spots where he didn't have to turn around. When we mentioned that, he said he couldn't. 2000 miles....

The license plate says NEEDOIL from Colorado.
It looked like an Audi sport utility vehicle, are they known to consume a lot of engine oil? I know that they are part of the Volkswagen group but I just didn't know if this is one of those high oil consumption vehicles and that's why he got the license plate. I was always told that they have a tendency to consume a lot of engine oil might be a for the motor oil saver additive from Liquimoly

The now World Famous BMW of Gatlinburg, thanks to TikTok.

And if you're anywhere near Pigeon Forge - this place is a must. Cannot recommend Local Goat restaurant enough. 🤌🏼 Been to many restaurants here over the years, and this is the only one I revisit every chance I get.

With all the beautiful scenery this is definitely a good reminder to keep eyes on the road.

Walked out of the hotel, and this funny looking raccoon got between me and my car. Waited a little until he moved on with life.

These goofy things sure do scream quite a bit (just barely doing the speed limit) with their motorcycle engines. Didn't realize they were as tall as my Armada though.

What's the story on this?
Not much of a story really, but it kind of became the unofficial "Welcome to Gatlinburg" sign over the years.

The car stands out due to weird parking angle. The owner of the car is a lawyer and lives above the deli. The deli restaurant itself used to be owned by that lawyer's father and later his brother, now sold to someone else. But the lawyer still lives above the deli, and still drives that BMW. Always parks it that way, and since this road leads right into Gatlinburg downtown - it gets a lot of traffic. Vacationers always notice the car due to its weird parking spot & angle, and once TikTok came to life - they started filming it and making it go semi-viral as the unofficial Gatlinburg welcome sign.
