Beautiful. Here in Buffalo/WNY we are one of the few East-Coast cities/areas that get to also witness this with Lake Erie being so massive. Truly beautiful.
A few weeks ago I saw a green flash twice within a few days. A few days ago the conditions looked promising with a clear horizon and I made a detour to the elevated area at the west end of Geary Blvd in the hope of seeing a green flash. It did not happen. I took the picture about 3 minutes after sunset.Beautiful. Here in Buffalo/WNY we are one of the few East-Coast cities/areas that get to also witness this with Lake Erie being so massive. Irritant removal: since you have repeatedly failed to understand the meaning or the spirit of the thread title in even the most loose sense, and because I have no intention of being exposed to any more of your rubbish, I am letting you hereby know you've made it onto my ignore list. You could, and, in my opinion, should have kept instead posting your random pictures in the more open-themed 'Thread for photos that do not violate..." thread. Even though, as you have told me, you think I have complained about your images to management, I will not do anything like that because I would be accused of having a horse in the race. Let the other members and mods decide if they want a forum with threads that remain within the boundaries of each thread topic or if they want all threads to turn into the same directionless mess. Be well!
Another blast from the past, the house we rented in the woods in North Carolina back in 2013 (M5 represent!):

I love that part of the coast but I don't get to go that far south all that often. It's been just about one year since I last visited Julia Pfeiffer Burn State Park on the way back From Palm Springs. The detour was worth it.Out for a quick cruise and lunch on the Big Sur coast.

I suppose it could be used for that purpose? It was a nice space with a railing that you could look all around when you went up there. In the first picture, does the building to the right have a fire lookout?
I stayed at a lodge in Yosemite that looked similar. The upstairs loft was the bedroom and there was a similar-looking fireplace of epic size.
