If given the choice of dating Petra H. (the extra hot home coming queen) or having that car, most of the guys in my highschool (me, too) would have dropped Petra like a barf covered hanky! Such a classically cool car.I saw this Chevelle on the way to the beach.
The only Petra I have ever known was a 260-lbs Hungarian barmaid. Remember, to drop her, you first have to pick her up.

Apparently in Missouri you can have a custom license plate on your Gadsden flag plate, I can't get that here in Kansas I kind of like theirs slightly better but ours is almost completely yellow so it really stands out is I have the similar plate here.

I think the Kansas plate should have a tornado on it. It's sad that they had to clip and translate the state motto.
Yes, driving skills are sorely lacking. As evidenced by the way some people cannot park between the lines if their life depended on it.
Not as bad as the humongous "A" on Acuras.Dunno what model but looks awful imho again the roundel is disproportionate (on the trunk)

Hey, the first plate says “ To the Stars”, Ad Astra in Latin, the motto of the Royal Canadian Bomber Command in WWII.
That's half of the state motto.
Ad Astra per Aspara. To the stars though difficulty. Cool. I believe it was also adopted by NASA.

Ad astra per aspera. I'd translate that as "Through peril to the stars." Virgil came up with the phrase. Perchance this is also the title of a book about the RAF fighter pilots who perished during WW2. Ad astra per aspera also makes an appearance on Star Trek as a motto before Starfleet came to be. And of course, 'To the Stars' is Draco's theme by Randy Edelman from Dragonheart. The piece was so popular it was used for not only several movie trailers, including Seven Years in Tibet and Mulan, but also during broadcasts of the Olympic Games.
And The Royal Cnafioan Air Force's motto is "Sic itur ad astra." Thus we travel to the stars. This line also goes back to Virgil.
The term "Reach for the stars" is the modern version of the old phrase. Stars is a metaphor for immortality. Remember when Draco dies in Dragonheart, the constellation Draco appears in the sky and Draco because Draco has become immortal. It's all very metaphorical and
spiritual. Is anybody still here or have you all gone home?
