While getting gas today the guy on the pump behind me was trying to wash his black Caddy SRX with the station windshield washing brush, including using the squeegee. In direct sunlight. It wasn't going well so he put the brush he was using in the bucket and walked to the other end of the fuel island to try the other one. When I left he was wetting it with the sponge and trying to dry it with one of the paper towels before the water evaporated from the sun. Nice job.
 
Why waste your time checking under the hood when you can push dirty water around on the hood instead. You must be careful to know your limitations.
 
I went to 5 Below and picked up a pair of workout gloves. I put on the left hand one and went to put on the right. It didn't fit because it only had 3 finger holes.
 
That "washing technique" happens at the local gas stations all the time. I don't think the people know they're doing more harm than good.
 
Genius! He's scamming a free car wash out of the gas station.

My brother and I washed his entire Jeep with squeegees a few years ago. But it's a beater old Jeep so...

It's only been washed once since in Spring 2014.

And the next guy gets a bucket of dirty water to wash his windshield...thanks pal. You must have done that in Cottonwood. I quit using the window washer when I got something on the RAV windshield that won't come off.
 
My washer fluid pump didn't work when I first bought my truck. *And the grommet inside the reservoir didn't seal.

I hated using those things every other day.. So dirty.

I think they get the water from the bottom of a swamp.
