But you, I, and Drew are interpreting the article through a sense of context born from our experiences, which are real to us.

Certainly true. However, I try to deal with what is presented. I've been hearing this "corporate take over" of the government for a long time, with absolutely nothing to back it up.

"What about corporate lobbyists?"
Yeah, and what about the lobbyists from the Green nuts, the AARP, the Unions, etc. These all seem to be OK.

But the corporate lobbyists are taking over government...

And I haven't put a whole lot of stock in the NWO stuff although some of the theories are sound. Many of those crazy "wackos" have now been vindicated via what's happening in Europe.

Tempest ..(sigh) ..there is always a corporate entity behind just about everything. There are people who lobby for legislation that make massive amounts of money just due to tax advantages and accomplish no productive worth. That is, "wealth programs" that are realized in avoided costs.

I have an in the beltway friend who is constantly seeking to broker these scams.

Money influences everything. Those who have the most of it ..attempt to configure everything to get more of it.

Who has the lion's share of the wealth? Do you think that they're impotent and are merely "victims"? No, they're conductors in a very dark orchestra.

I fear government as much as you do. The alternative is even more scary. That is, running the other way is merely cutting out the middle man. If you think government is a bad choice, and I'll grant that it is, wait until the true unvarnished and raw carnage that corporate fascism brings to bear when the gloves are taken off.
