Hey I am just curious how many members have been or are currently part of the USN. Post up your Rate, and time in service previous duty stations anything related to your time in the Navy.
Active Duty
CTT3 (former EW)
3 Years 5 months
Currently Stationed at NIOC Maryland
Currently under orders to the USS Vella Gulf CG-72 Norfolk VA.

No warfare qualifications (yet!)
 
4 Years AWN2/SAR Swimmer SH2F/G helo crewman.

HSL-36 and too many cruises, mostly to Persian Gulf before it was so popular a vacation spot for US Military.
 
-2001-2005 Active Duty, stationed at NAB in Virginia Beach.

-EngineMen 3rd class Petty Officer

-Stretcher bearer, Nozzlemen and sometimes overhaul men on fire team

2005-Present- Naval Active reserves converting to Gunnersmate 3rd class

been through one 8 month deployment and many operations.

Best **** time of my life.
 
Active duty Command Master Chief with 24 years in - served in 5 submarines and 5 shore duty assignments.

Currently stationed at the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy.
 
I am a Navy engineer working for NAVSEA NSWCCD-SSES Phila.

I desire to join the reserve as an EDO... My program sponsor at ONR is one, and has become a very respected friend - I think I would enjoy doing the things that he does when drilling. So this may be preliminary, but what why not post?!?

(3 ships in 3 years due to request for transfer. As soon as I returned from WesPac I wanted to go back. 2-1/2 Wespac's in 3 years... not too shabby)

Sonar, security alert team then back-up alert force, shore patrol (frequently, no one else in the division wanted to do it while I LOVED the duty) repel boarders team (M-60 machinegun, rock and roll!!!!) roving patrol and quarterdeck watches, divisional damage control petty officer. ASROC sentry, underway refueling detail (uggghhhh, though the USS Mars declared we set their, at that point in time, record for seating the probe once the line was sent across).

And a whole bunch of other stuff that has faded over the years. Sniff. Old age is a bummer, dude.

Okay, break time over.

Turn to ye swabbies, commence ship's work!!!!

OH!!!!!!!!! 4-section duty. Innumerable: "Sweepers sweepers man your brooms etc etc."
