The little Ninja seems tired..

He probably adjusted them to the max. spec so they are a teensie bit loose causing a bit of rattle, which is actually good. Quiet valves on the Ninja are probably too tight. Just curious--what oil did they put in there? That can make a difference too.

They didnt change the oil, only dumped the coolant. I currently have 1,900 miles on Motul 300v in the sump. The bike is still shifting fine and im not getting any indication that the oils worn so im going to let it ride. my Last OCI was in April of 2011 with the Motul.
 
I imagine that Motul is great stuff--at that price it better be! Your sig shows you using Valvoline 10W-40. I've been using the Rotella T6 5W-40 in my Ninja 500 and it has been great for close to 30,000 miles, so that is an alternative if you want to try it out, though I don't think you can go wrong with the Motul.

Yeah my 2010 Ninja OCI was with the Valvoline, i just havent changed it on my sig.. lazy, guess i should update my stuff.
