Maybe English isn't your first language, but "died" in this context means stalled.

Look at my sig. I own a Honda, in fact it is my third. It has has it's share of problems as well. Both cars have been about average in reliability I would say.

Regardless of what you find out, be absolutely sure you let the dealer know what happened, and have it documented.

At least there will be a paper trail of the incident during the warranty period.

Cannot stress this enough, especially if you are going to venture into the post-warranty period with a German car.

When I got VW CC in 2012 with 24k, at about 26k car just turned itself off on stop light. I turned it back on, and traded in with 116k in 2015, never experiencing that issue again.
Experienced similar thing with father's in law Honda Pilot. Driving one night with wife on of all places, Las Vegas boulevard. In traffic car just stalled. Turned on, and never had that again. He took it to dealer, had warranty, they could not figure out anything.
Since you have warranty take it absolutely there and at least as fcdg said they can document it.
