I almost shed a tear for the MIAA, and other such non-sense organizations (like HDMI licensing) when I go the chinese route and avoid stuffing their over-bloated pockets.
For cheap HDMI cables go to http://www.monoprice.com ,if this has not already been mentioned, best bang for the buck!
As well as bluejeans and new egg, dish hd's sucks, directv's hd is much better, IMHO. But Free HD is even better if you can get it.
Sounds like some BITOG members are also HTF members or AVI science members as well

Best Buy wants $20 for a SATA cable. Monoprice wants $2 for that same cable.
I love monoprice, I'm placing an order right now. They also have great prices on other things, like wall plates, antennas and other things.
That said when I need a longer HDMI cable I order from Ebay, they are cheaper yet on the long ones. I have a $12 25 footer for the dish box and a $22 50ft DVI/HDMI cable for the computer.
Monster has good marketing, but I blame the stores for pushing that overpriced [censored].
