Hopefully not a repost:

An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter, "Want coffee."

The waiter says, "Sure chief, coming right up." He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee. The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere, then just walks out.

The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one hand pulling another male buffalo with the other. He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter, "Want coffee."

The waiter says, "Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?"

The Indian smiles and proudly says, "Training for upper management position in United States Government: Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day."

Dave, it isn't racist and it was funny!

If you even MENTION the word Indian, or any other PC word, you're an instant racist to some people. It's laughable.

Right. The term should have been Native American.

I thought they were talking about East Indian (Hindi). Anyways, if it was anything, it would be about American Executives rather than "Indian".

1) It stereotypes 'Indians' but more importantly 2) it does so needlessly. The joke is just as funny if told as 'a guy comes into a bar...' No need to target an ethnic group.

It "stereotypes" Indians? How so? Buffalo were the plains Indians (oops, I'm so sorry to offend you softies.......Native Americans) primary source of sustenance.

It would be "stereotyping" a rancher to say a rancher walked in with a bull cow, and it would still be an utterly ridiculous use of the word stereotype.

I swear, political correctness is a contagious disease.

That doesn't even make sense.

Don't they spend most of their time "shooting the bull", when they could actually be doing the job they're paid for?

The one about the Australian Aborigine, the flagon of woomoola, sheet of corrugated iron and divorce settlment was racist and stereotyping...and I'd never post it.

You have to have a character, and this could have been an American Native, Texan with a big hat, Haliburton exec, on and on.
