The Hackberry Tree and a guy with a chainsaw

More progress on the Hackberry today. I intended to finish cutting up the tree today but my old Craftsman chainsaw wasn't cooperating. I think the coil is failing. Those pieces on the ground are approximately 30" in diameter. To be continued...

No new pictures but I completely finished this job today. All wood has been cut and hauled to the roadside for free firewood. What is left of the stump is below ground. There's a void under the portion of the (now gone) trunk you see in the above pic. We are going to burn it out, then level out the ground with the tractor. By next summer, there should be no trace that the tree was ever there.
