Oh, it was a great contest, yes it was. The GREAT LIBERAL HOPE against the Cowboy. The Cowboy was sneaky and evil, but the GREAT LIBERAL HOPE had the Bright Light Of Glory behind him, and Destiny was in his corner. People were terrified that the Cowboy had the Dark Evil in his corner. But in the end, the GREAT LIBERAL HOPE stood high in the center of the ring, the terrible Cowboy lay defeated, and the crowd cheered in relief. They chanted, 'We are saved, we are saved!' But they did not say thank you Lord because of the Separation of Church and State.

And off to the White House the GREAT LIBERAL HOPE went. And truly Destiny was in his corner, and the Bright Light Of Glory behind him, for the country was saved!

A way was found to obtain energy from thin air! It was a great scientific achievement, made possible because the scientists were inspired once again with the awful Cowboy gone. There was no need to despoil the environment. The energy crisis was ended.

Enlightened foreign leaders, the elite and the intellectuals of their countries, were again willing to come to the country. They had been terrified and horrified by the evil Cowboy. Working with the enlightened foreign leaders and the Great Gathering Of Nations in the Great City, peace reigned throughout the world.

The former terrorists met with the GREAT LIBERAL HOPE. They told him that now they could make peace, now that the evil Cowboy was gone. A great world union was created. The GREAT LIBERAL HOPE, the enlightened elite and intellectual leaders, and the former terrorist leaders ruled the world in peace and brotherhood.

Women did have to be convinced to wear clothing head to foot, but for the sake of the great peace they got used to it.

Men had to wear their beards long and heavy, but for the sake of the great peace they got used to it.

A few groups of people had to have their souls sent soaring into the sky, but it was done quietly so as not to disturb the great peace.

There was some despair among some when the State and the Church became one, but for the sake of the great peace they got used to it. And since there was now just one religion throughout the world, it did not really seem to matter anyway.

So great was the rule of the GREAT LIBERAL HOPE that arrangements were made to allow him to rule longer. For four glorious terms he ruled in office. When he finally retired, there was much sadness in the world; the world had never before known such an Enlightened and Great Ruler.

A Great Cleric replaced the Enlightened One. And the world lived on in peace and brotherhood.

No, Sprintman, it ain't. Perhaps drunken ramblings...? I'm thinking of that old saw, "That boy just ain't right in the head..."

Well.....that seems to sum up what liberals believe..........so I agree with TC....Drunken Ramblings. Or maybe "stoned epiphany" would be a better term. Or maybe "absurdity incarnate".
