It's pretty much just genetics and a bit of self maintenance. Tom Cruise certainly knows that his youthful and healthy looks are part of his value as an attractive leading-man type. He's fortunate that he's got good genetics to assist in that. As for the costar actress? She doesn't seem to care much about her appearance (as it pertains to a feminine, 'pretty' look). She's aged quite a bit (a normal process) and seems to have given in and accepted it.

Actually ANY older....ATTRACTIVE woman is pretty darn hot in my book. Don't much care for the younger gals....or even most under 35. I've seen plenty of very beautiful female specimens well over 45.

You're probably referring to some photos taken in the past couple of years intended to show those fellas at the worst possible moment. I think African American's age the least usually IMHO.
I may be totally wrong, but is there less cigarette smoking amongst Latin and African women? To me that and fake tanning exposure to fair skin are the two biggest determinants. Nothing makes people (especially women IMO) age faster than cigarette smoking.
Kelly M lived about two blocks from me until recently. Never ran into her though.

I believe it's from certain Latin and darker skinned people having more pigment (less sun reaction) and more oils in their skin. I am of the opinion that this reduces wrinkles somewhat in some instances. Just an opinion though as I have no facts to back it up.
