A lot of the older places that used to be great now seem ho hum. Brocatos, silver ring etc. Thankfully the smaller places are picking up the slack. I used to go to carmines in ybor all the time but lately they have been a fail. Seabreze was the bomb but sadly those days are gone. Never was a fan of babes

When I first moved to FL I lived in Riverview for the first 6 months. I lived in LITTLE TADPOLE VILLAGE on SIMMS RD. Is it still there? I used to fish off of the RR trestle down SIMMS RD. right before you get to GIBSONTON HWY. Riverview was all country when I moved there in 1987. It's almost as big as Brandon now. Is OTTO'S hardware still there? Where Boyette Rd. and 301 is, it used to be a triangle right there with a bar room right in the middle. Do you remember that?
Ah, memories!

Little tad pole is still there. Otto's is long gone. A Latin market took over most of it and a wawa took over the land. Riverview is all subdivisions and gas stations now😔. We've started the let's move talk at my house

LTPVILLAGE was just opening up when I moved there. My mobile home was not even moved into yet. I had to unpack all of the furniture, set up the appliances, and wait to have my sewer and water hooked up. I think there were 8 mobile homes there when I moved there. It was temp. until I had all the repairs complete to my HUD home.
The ONLY business on Simms Rd. was a Circle K on the corner of 301 & Simms Rd. I tested A LOT of my hot rods on Simms Rd. It was a perfect straight away.
