I just received my first issue of Offroad magazine and I just wanted to thank the US Mail service for a job well done.

Jwrench,
I don't buy subscription to any magazine that I actually desire, as the postal service can destroy any man made object.

As to the Mag in question, it's one of my favourites.

The American magazines (Circle Track, all the 4 wheeler mags, and Guns and Ammo) are miles ahead of what else we can get in a technical sense.

(We had some very innovative stuff happening in a few local mags, however the punters anted to see more pictures, so the really good stuff got dropped).

So how did they feel about the Firestone Destination M/T's??

I have the LE's (the light-truck, not passenger-car version)on my truck, and am very impressed with them (as I do a bunch of road driving and traveling between college and home), but for a mud-tire, these seems to look very, very good, giving you both traction off-road as well as good characteristics on-road...

I received a Racer X (motorcycle mag) that was just a cover (they must've ripped the inside pages out and only left the cover) and inside was a Speedo (as in swimwear) catalogue

Funny thing about it was; it took me like 4 pages into the catalogue to figure out what was going on

I was a little less than happy

In 70th there was a very nice song about "Postman" played by a girl band. Anybody remembers the name of this band and a full song name ?

I've had that song in my head all day, but have no idea who does it. I know the words go "wait a minute Mr.Postman"

Thanks lot for your info. Still have this song on the old tape, but could not find many years the performer. Now shall know what to search on CD.

If you get stuck looking, they are usually on the cheap desk at the CD shops down here.

(I think the better half has prolly got a copy around here somewhere. She likes the Carpenters)

Believe it will be a good supplement to the collection of oldies I have started to gather: Chubby Checker, Roy Orbison, Mango Jerry, T-Rex, Slade ... I like 60th and 70th. Looks like a nostalgia for this great time.
