I seen a Tesla with this Matte Blue Wrap (hopefully not paint) finish and thought it looked like a bad paint can job.

Does any one really think it looks good ?

Looks like the invisible Tesla from where I sit. Now I see it. I like it but probably wouldn't in a few months or a year.

I am not a huge fan of vinyl wraps. The durability is poor - usually significant deterioration after a few years.

Stealth PPF is a better option, but it requires more skill (and therefore more $$) to install. It still deteriorates and yellows though. $6-$10k/car, but if you have cash to burn, it can look cool with many colors:

When I worked for Tesla one of the employees had her Model 3 done with one of those wraps that changes color depending upon the angle that you were looking at it. The first time I saw it, I had one of those WTH ? moments. I can say that it must have made her Model 3 easier to find among all the other ones in the parking lot.
A satin wrap looks good on certain cars, not so great on others. I think it looks OK on those Teslas. The worst trend I have seen lately is a factory paint color that looks like battleship gray, seen on Jeeps and a couple other brands. Really unattractive in my opinion.

I'm not a huge fan of the front end look, but a car without a radiator or condenser up front needs no grill and {I'm sure it makes cleaning the front end a lot easier. Maybe something along the lines of what they did on the Model S might improve the "face" a little.

I agree that Tesla needs to do a simple restyling of their front ends. The Model S looks good, the Models 3 & Y look like baby Beluga whales. They could add some kind of cosmetic trim that would be a signature Tesla look, like how you can always tell a Mercedes or a couple other marques from the front end. The new Lexus' with the hideous cow catcher grills are another example although in a negative way, but you can always tell it is a Lexus.
