What would you put....

I don't really hoard oil. Just buy what I need when have a OCI due..
I do keep a extra couple qts of syn for the trak rat, as well as a bottle or 2 of PYB for lawn.
Tentative new SB. GX200 engine.

Usage - MAYBE 3-5 times a year at maybe 30 minutes - 1 1/2 Hrs MAX during operation.
If I remember during a OCI of a car to do it, I generally will just do a OCI on the SB every 3 years....it's not really on my radar to do it.

Would you give it syn or dino....
Does OPE need DINO for initial runs...
It takes such a small amount of oil anyhow, so $ per oil is a moot point for me (aka, it does not matter to me on the $ differential of syn/dino)

I would have broken it in on dino then switched to syn. Is this a genuine honda or a clone? Not that it matters, any syn 0, 5, 10w30 would rock in it.

My HF Chondas came with an oily residue inside, maybe an ounce of honey looking oil, not really assembly lube, but what do I know. And the carb stunk of fuel. Makes me think they test fire them at the factory.

I use mine more than you do.....About an hour per use(300' driveway), maybe 10 or more uses per winter, so I change annually. I use synthetic, 0W/30 though 5W/30 would be fine. I have been using Castrol, just because I had it in my stash, and don't use it in any of my vehicles.

(It seldom snows below 0F, though I have occasionally had to run the blower in those conditions, the morning after.)

Synthetic would be advisable in your situation, if only for the 3 year interval. Either 5W/30 or 0W/30. Even 10W/30 would be OK.

I've got a single stager that I prefer to use more....
Genuine GX - Honda's coming out with new 1 stagers. Too bad they are still using a 200 instead of a bigger block.

All I mainly plan to use it for is EOD and very heavy snowfall moving.
I like my HS621
