Tekton's article on JIS drivers

However, the WF “Phillips” screwdriver tips are shaped differently compared to the PR and Vessel drivers, and they absolutely round out/strip the heads of JIS screws.
The Craftsman screwdrivers don't just strip out JIS screws - they also fail miserably on most Phillips screws. Either the screws are subpar or the driver is subpar, but I suspect the latter.

Another vote here for Vessel ball grip. The tip is perfect, but the ball grip makes it easy to apply substantial pressure in case it is ever needed.

Are Hozan screwdrivers any good? They are made in Japan and cheaper than Vessel
You might want to look into Ko-ken. Personally, I think their screwdrivers are the most underrated products in the Ko-ken lineup.

Almost everyone in my circle runs Ko-ken because they’re bulletproof, have a rock-solid fitment, and the price is hard to beat.

My current go-to setup is buying Ko-ken bits and pairing them with a sun flag 、Anex grip, or just throwing them straight into my impact driver.
