Just had a thought about my taxes and realized I got rid of Windows and installed Ubuntu. What tax software can you use with Linux?

Yes, there's that option.

You can also install Wine. A lot of Windows software runs well under Wine.

Is this something you have done?

I would just use one of the service provider's web site(s). I don't know of any native tax preparation applications for Ubuntu or other Linux-based OS's; but one year, around 10 years ago, I did use one (I forget which) for my return here in Canada.

Here is a link to a search for "tax" at WINE's application database. It will indicate which applications run and do run well well under WINE and with which Linux disros. https://www.winehq.org/search/?q=tax
