im out here in california and i deliver beer. i eat at alot of different taquerias that i deliver to, usually i just get a burrito because its pretty much all i knew. lately within the past 3 months or so ive had a helper with me and he is from mexico, he has introduced me to some different taqueria fare. a couple of weeks ago i tried popusas, a dumpling like thing that has meat, beans and cheese inside a masa pouch and pan fried - i thought they were pretty good untill today.... he had me try sopes, the same masa made into the size of a corn tortilla but with a "wall" around the edge that held carnitas and carne asada in my case. they topped them off with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. these things are awesome or "bombalicious" as my helper described them. before having this guy around all i knew were burritos, enchiladas, nachos, and maybee a tamale or torta.
