Was shopping on Amazon for an iPhone holder and came across this!

Talk about a bizarre "multitudes of uses" sales pitch photo.

Seriously, is this product photo intended for HanSolo !? LOL. How many people dispatch their enemies with a shot or quick draw from under an office desk?

And it is from a "Trusted Brand". Yep, " hey deez are two ah my "trusted guyz"... Vito and Frank. They wouldnt want you to fall down.

Many online retailers and related businesses (craigslist, Square, etc) don't allow sales of firearms or firearms paraphernalia. This is how some sellers will get around that restriction.

I don't think this is the case with Amazon, as I've bought reloading equipment and components there before. I've never looked beyond that, though.

Similar products specifically for guns have been around for a long time. Some businesses are quite prone to being robbed or having angry people who might be violent come walking in (Lawyers, contractors, gas stations, banks, accountants) I'm all for having a gun available and easily accessible to me as I work in one of these places that gets some weird or angry people walking in off the street. Haven't had an incident yet but I did watch the cops raid a drug house across the street last week, looked like a bunch of cockroaches scattering when the lights came on.

I don't think it's bizarre. I recall about 15 years ago, I was at my Office in a decent area, in the middle of the day. This guy walks in, that clearly had some mental issues. He starts ranting about something or other, which had nothing to do with me or my Business, but that didn't seem to be a factor to him, he just kept screaming.

I didn't know what he might be capable of, or whether he had any weapons concealed in/under his long coat, on a warm Spring day.

I did my best to try and calm him, but all the while I had my Glock 21 in my hand which I had pulled out of my Briefcase, just out of his sight, if he made any moves with a weapon towards me. Fortunately he left after a few more minutes, and I called the Police.

I never heard whether he was found, but I never saw him again either.

So, long story short: "Luck favors the prepared".

Yes, Amazon sells tons of firearm related products ... just not firearms or ammo.
