Figures it was lawyers who designed this accessory. Don't they know carrying a weight only on one side of the body will lead to shoulder and back pain?

Mori, did labman ever get back to you about your poodle question?

Sadly, when the prancing pooch-packing person removes the mutt from its holster she likely dresses muttley in the latest style. Adding injury to insult, the babe has made the mutt take up smoking!!!!!

My wife and I got Dogs instead of kids. WE are very happy with this decision.
Pros-
:no college fund yet early retirement
:less visits from the in-laws to visit the dogs
:Dogs always love you back even when they are teenagers
:You are not contributing to Americas overpopulations of labor that doesn't want to labor
: They eat less and don't need an allowance.
: Dogs never want a new car for their 16th B-day
: Dogs don't complain when you take them on a road trip.
: Dogs are quicker to potty train than kids
: I can go fishing on schooldays and not have to pick the dog up from school at 3pm
: Dogs allow my wife and I to make spur of the moment plans and go!
: Did I mention that dogs don't have school problems and I don't worry about them going on dates?
: I can lock my dogs in the house and I don't worry about either sneaking out, or anyone sneaking in.
: I don't have to disillusion myself into believing that my dogs will take care of me when I am old.
: Dogs are a better judge of character than kids.

I could go on and on..
Cons-
: It is hard to find other DINKS to socialize with.
: Relatives continue to ask after 14 years of marriage abour kids.

That entire inheritance thing is odd to me. My MIL pinches penny's so she can leave a decent inheritance My wife and I are always telling her to please spend it all!
Leave the next generation as clean a slate as I had is my motto.

At first I was expecting that the puppy purse was a purse made out of a puppy! Boy, was I relieved! Or disillusioned . . . or something . . .

Just bring them a few pounds of brisket (and sauce) from City Market in Luling every time you see them for about, oh, two years. Then cut them off cold turkey. Relatives, like dogs, need good training.

[leghump]I'd like to meet the lady and explain that little creature isn't a dog.

Actually, I doubt I would want to talk about her dog. [/leghump]

Dogs are one of g*ds most wonderful little creatures. I don't think they can replace children, but, they stick with you through the thick and thin. Well, there are exceptions of course, but, overall they're great companions.

Bryanccfshr,

Just superb, gonna frame that, we have 5 dogs and no children, can relate to that all too well. Many thanks.

Still haven't been and I was just through Luling last week(farmers market)!! I have been perfecting my own brisket smoking over the past couple months every weekend I cook a brisket. It would be good to see how far I need to improve so next time...

The relatives will come when the thermometer drops to a temperature milder than the devil would prefer. triple digits are getting tiresome and I would like to take the dogs out when I run about, but it's just to darned hot. (I am back in Alaska for two weeks and I am watching Ernesto with crossed fingers for rain).

You are more than welcome Gurkha. You can add to the list anything you can think of. I have nieces and nephews and that is enough exposure for me. I am getting too set in my ways at the tender age of 35 and I am not so narcistic to believe that I need a replica running around after I am expired.

Wish I had a good picture of Luther hosted somewhere. He was a yellow Lab my daughter raised for a dog guide school. My SIL's one grandmother was fussing about better looking great grandchildren with only 2 legs. I share her point about 2 legs, but better looking?

My main activity on the net is answering dog questions. A few months ago, somebody sent me this one: I wish I could be sure it was a put on. Sounds like the dog purse would be just the thing for the twit.

Poodles!

Question:
Hi! I've been having some problems with a stupid poodle that I bought. I'm not sure, but I think it's the same brand you have. I bought it like 2 months ago, and I really take care of it well (buying it expensive doggy clothing, the best food brands, diamond collars, etc.), yet this *** forsaken thing won't shut up! All I hear is *YAP YAP YAP*, all day long! I'm telling you... this ***** doesn't know the value of the almighty dollar because if s/he did (I'm not sure if it's a boy or a girl), it would be the most well-behaved dog on the planet. I originally wanted it because I wanted one to carry around in my purse and as a companion (like Paris Hilton and her dog Tinkerbell), but this dog was a M-I-S-T-A-K-E... mistake! I put it in my pocketbook (a new Fendi Spy Bag), and it ****** ALL OVER THE PLACE! That dog ruined a $2500 bag! He's lucky I stopped living by the motto "You **** on me, I **** on you," a few years ago, or else that dog would be covered in the brightest, yellow urine I could find. H***, I'd probably dehydrate myself just so it was extra potent. Do you have any idea how bad dog **** smells? Oh don't even get me started on its turds! They stick to his/her butt as if they're clinging for dear life. How do I get those off? I don't think the store will take it back with **** stuck to its a**.

Ugh, excuse my venting... Anyway, how do I get the dog to shut up? Maybe it'd be easier to just give it back. Can you recommend a better brand of dog? I want one that's cute, small, quiet, and potty trained, and as far away from a poodle as possible. Thanks!!!!! :-)))) ''

I got married at 40, and she came equipped with a 16-year old (any much younger and I'm too impatient). Now he's 23, and I'm 47. Glad there is not much more age difference.

I recommend the experience (but am not about to say it's the only one).

I sent him a copy of the pic from this thread. He's to be off to Pensacola shortly for more training . . . wouldn't figure on "babes" in USMC , but figured I'd tweak his tail with what the beaches might hold: brainless and (fill it on in from here).
