uses brad penn for the extra zinc and then thins it out with MMO because "its cheap and its a good lubricant."

uses an open end wrench for the drain plug

doesn't shake the bottle before pouring in engine (JK)

uses channel locks on the filter... removal and INSTALL .... really

and the list goes on.

Started flash and saw it was a dude. No way I'm watching that unless it's the french maids changing oil.

Or that woman who was cleaning headlights for her son's car a couple of weeks ago

I've got a 55-gal drum of lacquer thinner that's a good solvent. Suppose I could sell it to this guy as a flushing additive?

link?

Yes he's a total idiot, unfortunately automotive service guys like him are all too common.

Interestingly enough BPN is a good source for old British car parts but the last thing you want to do is ask this guy for advise on anything.

Just goes to show you that ANYONE with an Internet connection, a camera, and an opinion can claim some form of expertise.

Engine flushes and oil additives are designed to separate money from people, that's it.

A crescent wrench on a drain plug!!!!! You are begging to round the drain plug off.

A huge pair of Channel-Lock pliers is the FIRST thing I reach for to take off an oil filter.

A hard rubber type edge, you mean the oil filter gasket?

He tightened an oil filter with a pair of Channel-Lock pliers, brilliant.

I was really hoping that after the video he would come on and say that this was all in fun and DON'T do what I did.

That's not a real Einstein quote.

I would suggest that people who want to make these kinds of videos actually come here first, where at least there is some knowledge, rather than looking like a total fool. He's too worried about extra additives in synthetic oil. Yet, he's not worried about MMO. And MMO has anti-wear additives? I can't even sit through the rest of it.

I knew all I needed to know about this guy/video when I saw the Slick 50 on the bench at the start. you can skip the rest except for laughs.

My takeaway is that Synthetic oil is no good because it will interfere with your slick 50 and MMO.

Oh... and Green dye somehow makes dark brad penn oil magic because it's made in an "old fashioned kind of way".

Wow... just wow. There ought to be a law...
