The right rear outer led tailight failed on my 2018 Honda HRV EX . The local Honda dealer wants $420 and the online OEM Honda parts sources are 20-25% less (Honda Part 33502-T7S-A01). I have seen generic aftermarket assemblies ranging from $40-$150. The TYC unit at Rock Auto is about $120. TYC advertises a lifetime warranty, but I think that it has to be handled though a distributor (vs direct) making warranty replacement extremely difficult. Any suggestions ? -Thanks

The best ratio of quality to cost is to pull one off a car at a pick and pull yard. Next best value is probably OEM off ebay as mentioned above.

I’ve been happy with TYC and for the money you can buy 3. Even they can make a decent headlight where optics truly count, they can do a taillight. I’m assuming the part is CAPA certified, which it probably is.

I would go used if knew how long that the typical lifespan of this particular LED tail / brake light bulb is longer than 6 years.
