T Clamp on CV Boot ?

Hey Guys,

What you think about using T-Clamp on a CV boot ?
I have CV boot with hard access to use regular clamp thinking about using T-Clamp ...

I'm not sure what you mean by a T-Clamp but years ago the auto parts guy recommended using a plastic zip tie. I used one and it held until the car was sold.

X2 on the zip tie. Like PBM, I have used these on CV boots successfully.

I have used a heavy duty Zip tie and it worked very well for a long time-like 40,000 miles when I sold it. The phone company uses heavy duty ties and not sure they are easy to find at local stores. Do not try to zip two together.

A zip tie can work well.
Some Chinese ones are cheap and weak.
A good nylon one is best, as big as will fit, and get it tight.
Cut off the excess hangy thing.
A C/V strap is best, of course.
The tightening tool is not much $.
I agree, you will not use it often.
