Was looking at oil filters on eBay and saw 2 guys selling "system 1" cleanable, one size fits all oil filters. I did a search in "oil filters" and didn't see any specific threads on it. Anyone ever heard if them? Any good? Pretty pricy at $135.

I wouldn't bother. It would be hard to clean the filter of all the small debris and it would be much more effort and more expensive than just buying a new filter. Im sure even that filter will wear out.

It a racing-only item meant to be used on engines that have their oil changed after every race. The media appears to be woven stainless steel so I'm sure it flows like crazy and can withstand an amazing amount of pressure but it sure won't filter very well. So it's more of a safety device incase the engine grenades during the race. It'll keep large chunks out of the oiling system.

FYI, I've also seen air filters on ebay with similar SS woven media.

I've read pretty much what has already been said. Especially about what a pain in the butt they are to clean. For a daily driver, you'd almost have to buy two of them, so you could fiddle farrt cleaning the one you just pulled off. If it was just a race vehicle it might not be to bad of a hassle, but for a daily driver, I recommend you use a quality standard filter.

$135 / 2.07 (Supertech filter) = 65

65 filters @ 3,000 miles each = 195,000 miles

65 filters @ 5,000 miles each = 325,000 miles

(LIkely) Better filtration, plus way less hassle.
