My truck (96 Chevy K2500) needs the transfer case fluid changed. I have some Redline ATF sitting here and was wondering if it would be okay to put in (94,000 miles). I was told though because it doesn't have Viton seals that it will begin to leak with the synthetic. Any input? It's push button 4x4 if that makes a difference. Thanks.

I try to run only syn in the transfer case, I think the Redline will be good for yours provided it caries the Dex III rating.

Shouldn't be a problem. Leakage occurred in the 70's bc syns were not balanced to prevent swelling or shrinkage. No longer a problem.
