but on topic too. I was reading the back lable of Mobil 1 EP and it states not to use it in any HARD driving and extended OCI conditions. It also has a caution on Turbo use.

Extending it beyond 10K in a worn, dirty engine without a UOA is risky.... especially first-time Mobil-1 buyers because Mobil wants you to shorten the first OC significantly to acclimate the engine to it. Going 15K in a non-well maintained engine & driving heavy-footed style -- then going anywhere near 15K in city driving is not what most folks here would recommend.

I know, I just considered it ironic that they'd recommend avoiding extended OCIs on their 15000 EP oil. I'd never recommend 15k on it under any conditions, really.
