SYNPOWER 5W-20?

Greetings, I headed to Kragen's today to stock up on Synpower now that it is on offer(with rebate)for 99 cents a quart.I wanted 5w-40 for the VW,but was told they no longer stock this grade,bummer. I did get a case of 5w-20 for the Honda,because I can't walk away from a deal like this.I searched the forum and can't find many posts about Synpower in this grade.I have no complaints about the 5w-40,it used to be the easiest VW502 oil to find. Any feedback on Synpower 5w-20 in a Honda 2.4L V-Tec?

I can't comment on it in a 2.4l Honda motor, but it sheared down pretty good in my 1.7l Honda motor. I was very surprised by this since these motors are not very hard on oil.

I used it my 04 civic and it was fine. It's a group III oil, i think. Great price, I would grab as many as I could

Are all the Synpower Oils Group III?

Look at the MSDSs. All are Group III CAS numbers, but the 20w50 shows a PAO CAS number.
